Poodle Hair
Since last year, I’ve been seeing a surge among people sporting this weird looking hairstyle I call as a “poodle-hair” because it certainly looks like that bouncing ball of hair seen on poodles shown on TV.
Guys mostly dig this style, gay or straight. It involves a sizeable amount of hair (from the bangs up) being styled into something “fluffy”. The sides usually are shaved off to give emphasis on what’s left, the fluffed hair.
I’ll see if I could grab a stolen shot of people possessing this kind of hairstyle.
This is a pic of a little boy in Africa, looking frail and shrivelled up…up to the point we can bones on his body. A sign of world hunger that makes us realize that we must do something to fight it and over-all eliminate it for the benefit of future generations.

This is an ad for an exhibit about change…change that is something we want to see and yet we can’t quite get a hold of it if we can’t change ourselves. The ad itself takes a very seriuous tone that whoever may passes by it will surely notice it and take a good look to see. It will make you think for a minute and realize that, like the ad says, you dowant change badly…whatever change it may be.
This was taken back in April 2010 at what is now the SDA Commons Area.
The photo clearly shows how the model is “using” the product he’s holding as if he holds it as his own…The bag itself look attractive enough for someone like me to buy one for myself. This is an ad from Penshoppe taken on its Facebook page as a photo using my phone cam.
This is a photoshopped photo that was seen from a reality competition show in the US about women aspiring to become professional models. The concept of the photo is how they would be able to make a photo about wrestlers and physical strength into something more high fashion with girl power. In this particular photo, I kinda find it a bit funny at least with the way the model poses against the wrestlers. Not necessarily in a humorous way but there’s a certain element with how she did the pose that makes the image worth laughing about in a good way! :)
Took this from a Flickr.com account a couple of weeks ago (October 27, 2010).
This is a picture of a model with splatters of paint spreading out on her face. The photo, which I saw from a website (Pinoy Exchange.com) yesterday, is somewhat disturbing because of the model’s eyes. Her eyes is probably the model’s best asset because it seems to show a certain aura that she brings to the photo. The concept of the photo, I’m guessing is how much a story you can tell using just your face, no poses no unnecessary props. In this case, this photo sort of tells people that the model is some blood-thirsty serial killer. People who see this photo can feel drawn to the killer’s eyes, seemingly innocent yet deadly.
The photo was taken from a book called “The Anatomy of Design”. I just took this photo earlier today (October 13, 2010).
As the photo clearly shows, it’s a poster for an AIDS awareness campaign. It shows people butt-naked with the words “STOP AIDS” written on their chests, torso, breast, etc. In my perspective, the nudity of the models seeks to catch the attention of people in a matter that it also try to tell us about the disease itself as it bears itself on the people it afflicted on.
The models differ from each other, some are black, some are white, the others very young, while the rest are very old. This tells us that AIDS is a disease that can attack any one, regardless of race, ethnicity, sex and sexual orientation.
This picture is a graphic art made by a blogger in time for Independence Day. It shows a “united” Philippines, literally.
I took this using my mobile phone camera from the blogger’s twitter account where the art is used as a wallpaper early today (October 5, 2010).
This is a logo of a defunct radio station called Joey@Rhythms 92.3. I took this a couple of weeks ago when I dropped a visit to a radio station where I found a folder that bears it. The reason I took this picture is for nostalgia purposes, and other than that, I also ahppen to like the logo’s conceptualization to describe what the station is.
